The CASP has reported evidence of test re-test reliability (Intraclass Correlation Coefficient = 0.94), internal consistency (α ≥ 0.96) and construct and discriminant validity.

The open-ended questions at the end of the CASP can provide useful information to understand factors that might support or hinder the child’s participation and elaborate on information that was not obtained from the ordinal-scaled items.
