To observe functional motor behavior in infants, and to assess motor outcomes.
Assesses the posture and selective control of movement needed by infants for functional performance in daily life.
Also useful as an outcome measure and treatment planning
From 34 weeks gestational age to 4 months post-term

13 items are observed spontaneously. Series of items are also observed :
