Purpose
The YC-Pem is an assessment tool completed by the parent of children newborn to 5 years old. The YC-PEM is a parent-completed measure that looks at the different activities of children aged 0-5 years by evaluating the level of participation and qualities of the environment in which these activities take place.

Key description

The YC-PEM can be completed independently by the parent on paper or electronically.  Also can be administered face to face or virtually via parent interview. The results are then to be shared with the child’s health professional and therapy team to determine any adjustments to be made to help reach goals.
